Frida Kahlo was far more beautiful than she painted herself. Yet she says and I quote "I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best." She says she is the person she knows best but fails to paint herself as the rest of the world see's her. She is my reason for not trusting the image I see when I look in the mirror.
